When are all ceramic crowns needed?

Crowns are placed when a tooth is too weak or too broken down to allow placement of a filling material within the remaining tooth. They protect the remaining tooth structure to permit normal function. Ceramic crowns mimic the appearance of teeth so closely that they can be placed undetected anywhere in the mouth including over implants and on teeth that show in a smile.
